Marie Yuki Méon a passé son enfance à Tokyo, où elle est née de parents franco-japonais. Arrivée à Paris à 18 ans, elle mène des études d’architecture d’intérieur à l’école Nissim de Camondo, et travaille près de 10 ans en tant que retail designer pour des maisons de luxe. Passionnée par la cuisine et son langage depuis toujours, elle fonde Manger Manger en 2017 après l’obtention d’un CAP de cuisine et différents stages dans des bistrots parisiens tels que le Verre Volé ou Sur Mer.
Imaginé comme un studio multi-disciplinaire où les ingrédients et les aliments sont pensés comme des outils de création, Manger Manger crée des narrations sur-mesure composées d’éléments comestibles à regarder et à déguster, sous la forme d’installations, de repas ou d’images pour des clients tels que Hermès, Lemaire, Boucheron, Prada, Gucci, Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Chaumet etc, mais aussi d’institutions culturelles telles que Moly Sabata, ou Spazio Punch à Venise, ainsi que des groupes d’hoteliers.
Of Franco-Japanese origin, Marie Yuki Méon spent her childhood in Tokyo. At 18, she moves to Paris where she conducts interior design studies. Marie is a graduate of Ecole Nissim de Camondo. Later on she joins Dior, then Chanel. She will spend 10 years as a retail designer, learning the codes of luxury, and the requirement of excellence.
She decides to take a big step in order to fully devote herself to food and attends a training school in culinary arts where she graduates with a certificate of professional competence and various internships in Parisian bistros such as Verre Volé and Sur Mer. Manger Manger is founded in 2017.
Imagined as a multi-disciplinary studio where ingredients and food are thought of as creative tools, Manger Manger creates tailor-made narratives composed of edible elements to be viewed and tasted, through installations, meals or visuals, for clients such as Hermès, Lemaire, Prada, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Chaumet, Boucheron etc, but also cultural institutions such as Moly Sabata, or Spazio Punch in Venice, and hospitality groups.
